Abstract:

It is noted that at present volleyball as a sport has sufficient popularity all over the world. Over the years, the sport has undergone many changes, ranging from its position in the field of sport to more detailed changes in technique, tactics, and different requirements. Purpose was the study of the specific features of modern scientific views on the intentional values of volleyball as a situational game sport. Materials and research methods: in the process of work, methods of logical processing of information (distribution, grouping, comparison, generalization, abstraction) were used; retrospective, epistemological, system and content analyses; information compression; analytical forecasting; Information optimization. Results. It has been established that at the moment the dynamics of sports results depends not only on the natural data and sports talent of the athlete himself, but also on the system of long-term and purposeful training of the sports reserve. The advantages of volleyball are the relative ease of accessibility of the equipment of places for the game and the rules of its conduct, great entertainment. The abundance of various tactical combinations, the emotionality of the struggle, collectivism attract people of different ages and professions to volleyball. Conclusion. The intentional values of volleyball as a team sport mainly include: involvement of almost all muscle groups, increasing joint mobility; Stress; self-confidence and team confidence; increased energy consumption; accommodation of 6 pairs of eye muscles and visual acuity; responsibility for the team and trust in others; fine motor skills; Effective communication. Scientific novelty: clarified that until recently the main goal of volleyball was the content of the game, while now it is its result. The reorientation of the goal of the game entailed a number of transformations. The course of the game has changed qualitatively: it is allowed to transfer hands to the opponent's side when blocking; three touches of the ball after blocking; Use of antennas that limit the plane of the ball transition. Practical significance: in the process of sports selection, the coaching staff, in addition to the reasonableness of searching for taller and super-tall (over 210 cm) players, also to increase the emphasis on the psycho-emotional component of the athlete's stability against the background of cumulative fatigue.
