Abstract:

The article examines certain aspects of personnel training in the field of physical culture and sports, and examines the personal qualities necessary for the successful implementation of this activity. The identified level of self-actualization and preferred personal qualities of students in the “Physical Education” direction creates an opportunity for further development of skills and abilities for the use of innovative physical education and health technologies and can serve as the basis for achieving success in their chosen professional activity, which determines the scientific novelty of the work. The practical significance of the work is that the proposed tools can be used by teachers in order to ensure a systemic effect in training personnel in the f ield of physical education and sports. Also, the obtained theoretical and empirical material is important for developing the content of retraining and advanced training courses for teachers in the field of sports education and can be used in the educational process of specialized universities. Material and research methods. Data from literary sources on the necessary professional and personal qualities required for workers in the field of physical culture and sports related to the development of health-improving activities were studied, the opinions of 115 1-4 year students of the training direction 49.03.01 “Physical Education”, 65 boys and 50 girls aged 18-23 years were analyzed. Results. Based on the analysis of modern scientific literature and generalization of students' opinions, a conclusion is formulated and substantiated about the importance of personal qualities for students to master the requirements and standards for specialists in the f ield of physical education and health services, as well as the role of education for the effective implementation of activities in the field of physical culture and sports. Conclusion. Based on the research, the authors came to the conclusion that leadership and other personal qualities of an athlete, teacher and coach, to a certain extent being innate, are formed and honed in the process of receiving specialized education.
