Abstract:

Health state and the level of physical qualities decrease among schoolchildren in Russia became not only medical and social, but also serious pedagogical problem. Health protection of schoolchildren is one of the main directions in the structure and content of general education improvement. There appeared different kinds of educational establishments nowadays and in this connection we have the necessity to analyze the state of schoolchildren’s functional reserves level and the indices of their physical fitness. Using the authors’ programs concerning different kinds of sport introduction into the program of physical culture lessons and extracurricular activities demands thorough study. The aim of the research is to reveal the effectiveness of the skipping rope exercises use (jumping elements) methodology during physical culture lessons at secondary school. Research methods. Information sources analysis, pedagogical testing, experiment, methods of mathematical statistics, the received results analysis and summarizing. Results. Jumping elements use at physical culture lessons in junior schoolchildren showed valid increase of coordinating abilities and speedpower oriented qualities level development in the experimental group. Conclusion. The received research results help to correct the process of physical culture lessons organization, paying special attention to motor-coordinating abilities formation.
