Abstract:
It is very important to evaluate the impact of regular athletics in the conditions of the section and independently on the physical performance of female first-year students with different body types. Aim of the research. To evaluate changes in the level of physical performance of female freshmen students who started athletics. Scientific novelty. The peculiarities of female first-year students’ physical performance level who started to engage in athletics were found out. Practical significance. The greatest increase in aerobic capacity found in first-year female hyperstenic athletics students indicates that they can achieve the most pronounced results. To achieve higher performance in first-year female students of asthenic and normosthenic physique, apparently, a denser training schedule is necessary. Materials and methods. The observation was conducted in two groups of f irst-year female students: control (18 people) and athletics (22 people). The control group attended academic physical education classes. The athletic group of female students additionally took athletics classes for 30-40 minutes a day five times a week. The girls' body type was assessed and physical performance was determined by PWC170 at the beginning and at the end of the first year of the university. The data were calculated using Student's t-test. Results. In the case of athletics training, in parallel with physical education classes in first-year female students it was possible to achieve an increase in the level of PWC170. The obtained results indicated in young female track and field athletes an increase in their aerobic capacity during athletics. Non-involvement in sports activity was accompanied by the preservation of stably low physical efficiency in their peers of the control group. Conclusion. Athletics training contributes to the growth of aerobic efficiency in female students of the first year, the degree of which is maximum in the presence of hyperstenic physique and exceed the dynamics of this indicator in asthenics and normostenics.
