Abstract:

At a present stage of mini-football development we see evident contradiction between the necessity to develop coordinating abilities in young people as one of the most important aspects of physical training. They condition the success of young athletes in sports games and insufficient introduction of new scientific data concerning this question into the practice of their training process. We see acute deficiency of practice-oriented technologies and methodologies. They help to realize effectively coordinating training of young football players. All mentioned above stimulated the authors to create experimental methodology of coordinating abilities development in 10-12 year-old athletes. They practice mini-football. Materials. The protocols of coordinating abilities testing. Research methods.Information sources analysis, pedagogical testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics (Student’s t-test). Results. After the end of the experiment in the control group and the experimental group we revealed the increase according to all measured indices. However, in the experimental group the results were significantly higher according to each index. The experimental group had the advantage over the control group in the indices of the following tests: “running to enumerated balls” – by 2,8%; “running the stands round” – by 4,8%, “pulling the ball with the foot” – by 5,1%, “striking the ball into the goal” – by 16,8%; “turns at a gymnastic bench” – by 17,7%. As a result of the pedagogical experiment we stated the effectiveness of the coordinating abilities methodology development among young football players. Conclusion. The effectiveness of the experimental methodology of coordinating abilities development among 10-12 year-old athletes was proved by all control indices change in terms of significance level Р<0,05.
