Abstract:

The level of functional reserves of cardiorespiratory system is the most important index of planning physical load during the training lessons and competitions in many kinds of sport. In calisthenics the process of mastering is difficult for coordination motor actions, conditioned by high intensity and spatio-temporal characteristics change, depends on the indices of regulatory—adaptive potential of cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Nowadays we see wide use of instrumental control over athletes’ hemodynamic indices during the training lessons. They help to decrease the risk of adaptive mechanisms violation. At the same time competitive period is characterized by maximal physical and emotional load and claims great demands on the functional reserves of athletes. In this connection we studied cardiovascular system response to physical load among highly-qualified female gymnasts in calisthenics during the preparatory and competitive periods. Materials. In order to study the response of cardiovascular system in 19 female gymnasts (MS) to physical load we used the indices of instrumental medical control, complex testing of special physical readiness, functional test using “Ortorent velo” bicycle ergometer. Research methods. During the research we analyzed the results of functional tests, we registered hemodynamic indices during the preparatory and competitive periods. Mathematical handling of the received results was realized with the help of generally adopted programs Windows and Microsoft Office Excel. Results. The days of competitions are characterized by high degree of tension of cardiovascular system regulatory—adaptive potential. It is conditioned not only by maximal physical load, but also by high emotional tension and the periods of early hemodynamic indices rehabilitation in this case considerably increase. Conclusion. Functional tests use in order to reveal the level of cardiovascular system reserve indices would help to plan an individual level of maximal physical load, timely correct the intensity and volume of educational-training lessons.
