Abstract:

The success of a boxer is mainly conditioned by the state of his physical qualities, first of all by dexterity, endurance level, quickness and strength. Technically correct blow of a boxer can be so strong that it can cause different injuries, trauma. Among the injuries the most often met are the following: scratches, bruises, sprain of soft tissues, joints dislocation, bones fractures, cartilages rupture, brain injuries. Scientific novelty. For the first time, a set of exercises aimed at preventing hand injuries in boxers was introduced and tested. Practical significance. Lies in the effectiveness of the developed complex for the prevention of hand injuries in boxing. Material. Studying the reasons for traumatism in boxers. Research methods. Information sources analysis and summarizing, pedagogical observation, pedagogical interview, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Results. We studied the reasons for hands injuries in boxers. We created and introduced into the training process of boxers the complex of strength oriented exercises, directed toward traumatism prevention. During the research created by us complex of special exercises for hands injuries prevention among boys, who attend boxing sections, turned out to be effective. Conclusion. The introduced complex of exercises provides power oriented indices improvement, articular apparatus strengthening and traumatism level decrease.
