Abstract:
The scientific article presents the results of the research analysis concerning sportspatriotic upbringing among students of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sport North -Eastern Federal University named after М.К. Ammosov. The information sources analysis helped to define the existing modern notions of the upbringing work means and methods at a higher education establishment. Material. In order to get necessary information we studied the monographs concerning the peculiarities study of sports-patriotic upbringing among students. Research methods. Information sources analysis, pedagogical observation, experimental testing, methods of mathematical statistics. The aim of the research: to study and scientifically substantiate the peculiarities of sports-patriotic upbringing among the students of the Institute of Physical Culture and Sport North -Eastern Federal University named after М.К. Ammosov. Results. As a result of the held research work we achieved the set aim of sports-patriotic upbringingdevelop students’ civic consciousness and patriotism in order to understand patriotism as one of the most important moral, socially significant values of a personality. The working capacity of students increased, we managed to form students’ professionally important qualities, the ability and readiness of their active demonstration in different spheres of society life, students’ ability to control own actions in different conditions. Practical relevance. The research results can be used in practice of higher education establishment. Conclusion. The program of sports-patriotic upbringing is directed toward perception, imagination, memory formation, interests, feelings, inclinations and abilities development. They provide an active attitude to life and Motherland protection appearance. These qualities demonstration and development is difficult to follow, in comparison with the definite results of knowledge and skills mastering. It is important to define the sequence of development.
